This rare NS-X model was designed by Ned Steinberger for Spector as an homage to the popular Steinberger headless basses of the early 1980s. Produced in very limited quantities between late 1983 and 1985 before the Kramer acquisition, it is estimated that only about 100 units were ever manufactured. This particular instrument is a rare non-serial numbered example.
