This stocking was originally purchased as a kit in 1992. The crafter did a beautiful job of needlepointing the "Festive Geese" design; I should know since I needlepoint too. The crafter also went to the extra troubling of sewing an additional lining to hide the back of the needle work. The design features a 1990s popular country-style patchwork showcasing three white geese peeking out of the stocking front. The 1990s had a plethora of white geese with blue ribbons in a multitude of home decor inside and outside. The top of the stocking has gold accent stitches and the loop is also gold with a gold tassel. This handcrafted piece was very well done.
