Lot of 4 Original Vintage Communist Era Bulgarian Family Lifestyle & Travel Photographs – 1969-1973
Up for auction is a wonderful four-piece collection of authentic, original black-and-white snapshots capturing family memories, childhood, and holiday travel across Bulgaria. The lot covers milestones from May 1969 through August 1973, showing family members in Sofia's historic Ovcha Kupel district as well as exploring a scenic botanical garden palace along the Black Sea coast.
Three of the photographs feature beautiful decorative deckle (scalloped) edges, while one features standard straight-cut edges. The prints measure approximately 8 x 6 cm. The reverse sides feature extensive handwritten annotations in blue ink documenting the exact neighborhoods, cities, and dates.
