An excellent 9CD set of Vivaldi concertos from I Musici, Felix Ayo, Salvatore Accardo, Heinz Holliger (oboe) and Severino Gazzelloni. The set includes the concertos published as Opus 7, Opus 8, Opus 9, Opus 10, Opus 11 and Opus 12. That means you get a first rate recording of The Four Seasons plus an absolute treasure trove of other concertos. (Nine and a quarter hours total playing time.) Recorded between 1959 and 1975, these discs come from Philips golden years of beautiful recordings of world class performances.

Unfortunately the original disc two in this set became lost when a junior family member left it in their CD player and then grew up and left home. The original sleeve is still extant. I have replaced this missing disc with a home made CD using digital versions of the original CD and have adjusted the price accordingly.
