The Starrett Stair Gage is in overall good condition, and guaranteed to be fully functional. There are some stains marks on it due to age, use & storage. However, there is no previous owner's name inscribed on the set. Starrett's stair gage fixture attachments clamp to a framing or rafter square forms a handy gage for laying out stair stingers, hip, valley, and other rafter cuts plus many unusual cuts.
