Fender Japan Precision Bass PB-551. It is in working condition but has significant cosmetic and structural wear. The body and neck have numerous dents, scratches, paint chips, and cracks, with age-related darkening of the finish. The tuner and bridge finishes are deteriorated.
The jack area was modified for a plate-style jack; the removed wood has been filled with wood putty, and a cylinder-style jack is fitted. The original knobs, strap buttons, and neck plate are missing and have been replaced with substitutes. The neck pocket has been modified near the pickup, and a shim is present. Frets have approximately 7080% life remaining. The neck has a slight forward bow. Sold as the bass only; no case included. Please expect additional minor wear and dirt. Overall, this instrument has substantial condition issues.
