Thorlabs LCC1312-A empty liquid crystal cell with a nominal 4 µm gap between the substrates. It is designed for laboratory filling with liquid crystal material and for testing liquid crystal compounds and materials.
The cell uses UV-grade fused silica glass, an anti-parallel polyimide alignment layer and two liquid crystal injection holes. It is optimised for visible-range transmission with broadband anti-reflection coating and a high-resistance indium tin oxide conductive layer.
