In about 1966 I bought this record from a charity shop in used condition, since then I have only played it a few times and now sits in my record collection unplayed, so it is now time for it to go. I did play it recently and had forgotten the fantastic quality of this stereo recording.
The record is a deep groove all black label version with STEREO in thin letters and most importantly it PLAYS IN TRUE STEREO, in addition the matrix numbers on both sides have a "STEREO" suffix
I still have the original paper inner sleeve which is a bit rough but will be shipped with the record, but rest assured the record will be in a MoFi Archival Quality sleeve.
Cover is in VG+ condition. Has some very minor wear on front and back, there is a very small blue mark at the front top left corner. Printing on the spine is a little broken but perfectly legible.
Record is near mint condition. Has some very minor wear on both sides, side 1 has a light surface scratch which doesn't affect play. Sounds amazing.
Runout area details
Side 1, a small etched triangle then 6313 followed by a stamped MR in a small circle followed by etched S 63-3402-Stereo there is also etched URJ.
Side 2, a small etched triangle then 6313X followed by a stamped MR in a small circle followed by etched S 63-3403-Stereo, there is also etched URJ.
MR in a small circle in the runout grooves indicates that it was pressed at the Monarch Record Mfg. Co. in Los Angeles, California and the laquer was cut by Chicago-based recording and mastering engineer Jerry DeClercq who was active 1960s-1970s and signed his lacquer cuts with "URJ".
