Rare vintage Noritake Jug - Drover on horseback driving bullocks.

The jug has a picture on one side of a drover on horseback driving a small herd of bullocks (see 1st & 2nd photos) and a picture of a tree on the opposite side (see 3rd & 4th photos). The jug was produced by Noritake in Japan, probably mid last century.

The jug measures 10.9cm (4 1/4") dia. at the top, 10cm (3 7/8") dia. at the base, 20.3cm (8") from the front of the spout to the back of the handle, 12.2cm (4 3/4") height.

The jug is in good condition, with no chips, no cracks, no hairline fractures, no repairs, no crazing, no stains, minimal pattern wear and minimal superficial scratching. The rim of the jug has no chips (see 5th & 7th photos),

The base of the creamer jug is backstamped with the Noritake "green spider" backstamp (see 6th photo) "Noritake, made in Japan".

Pieces in this rare vintage pattern are very difficult to find.
