Add a true museum piece to your collection with this Matchbox Collectibles Y-12 1937 GMC Van, a special edition commissioned in 1995 by the Chester Toy & Doll Museum. This isn’t just a die‑cast model — it’s a celebration of childhood, craftsmanship, and one of the UK’s most charming toy museums.
Featuring vibrant artwork of classic toys — teddy bears, trains, buses, and more — this van captures the spirit of “For Children of All Ages.” The livery was officially authorised by the museum, making it a fully licensed and historically accurate collectible.
The box includes detailed background information about the museum’s history, its extensive Matchbox collection, and its 16th‑century location in Chester. For collectors, that provenance is gold.
