I grade conservatively — records often play better than their assigned grade.
I only sell records graded E+ through G−. If it's not good enough to enjoy, it's not good enough to sell!

Grade	Description
N	New / unplayed – where would a !NEW! shellac record be coming from 😎
E+	Excellent plus – almost like new, no signs of play, superb sound
E	Excellent – very minimal signs of play, near-perfect sound
E−	Excellent minus – slight marks, still plays excellently
V+	Very good plus – light surface marks, plays very well with minimal noise
V	Very good – moderate wear, some surface noise but fully enjoyable
V−	Very good minus – noticeable wear, moderate surface noise throughout
G+	Good plus – obvious wear, audible surface noise, but still a decent listen
G	Good – significant wear and noise, but plays through without skipping
G−	Good minus – heavy wear and considerable noise, but still plays through
F	Fair – we don't normally sell these, unless the music is too rare to resist 🎵
P	Poor – life's too short for bad shellac. You won't find these here! ✌
