Italian Order of Vittorio Veneto Award Document Cross WWI Cavaliere Medal Set
| Quantity | 1 |
| Summary | Up for sale is an authentic original framed Italian Order of Vittorio Veneto (Ordine di Vittorio Veneto) award document set, official insignia cross, and miniature medal. Awarded in 1969 to WWI veteran Di Leonardo Nicola with the title of Knight (Cavaliere), the large official certificate issued in Rome features formal calligraphy, legal decrees, and the official seal of the President of the Order (Il Presidente del Consiglio dell'Ordine). Mounted inside the ornate gilt frame along with the document is the original Vittorio Veneto Cross (Croce di Vittorio Veneto), a Greek cross formed of stylized military helmet motifs with a central star, mounted on its correct tricolor ribbon, alongside its corresponding miniature dress medal. The document displays crisp printing, original typed recipient naming, and light, honest age toning. A magnificent, ready-to-display grouping for collectors of Italian WWI military history, award certificates, royal and republican orders, and European phaleristics. Please inspect all high-resolution photos carefully to evaluate the condition, document text, and insignia details. |
