For
auction only and without a buy it now price or warranty, I offer my
Panasonic Lumix DMC-GH3 serial WE4JH001057 complete with H-FS12060
12-60mm f3.5-5.6 XB6JF005348 lens, 58mm UV filter and lens hood. Two
batteries and a charger, a wired remote, video out cable and a 16GB
SD memory card. All packaged with a Lowepro Slingshot 200 camera bag
to get you going.
The
camera is in very good condition with recently replacement body
panels (GH4). I did this back when I had two GH3s. One body
older and more used got this cameras panels as they were in good
shape and this camera treated to the new panels. Other than this
panel change the camera is standard UK PAL. Over the years of
ownership both cameras served me well, only selling the other model
earlier this year after an upgrade and now with a few extra additions
I am selling this, my last GH3 but not my last Lumix. I am still a
MFT user with both a G9 and GH5M2. As the camera stands, it is
getting on in age and has been well used and well looked after. But I
offer no support or warranty. Ebay has it’s distance selling rules
which I’ll honour and of course, any issues with postage is fully
covered. So please check upon arrival all is as should be.
- The WiFi
functions are only supported by legacy software. Newer TVs and mobile
devices will probably not connect even when the camera is seen as a device. This isn’t a fault, it’s
compatibility issue with new hardware and not implied as a supported feature. Body and lens have the latest firmware.
- Now
the fun stuff. The GH3 strengths is video. Taking Full HD 1080p in
various frame and bit rates. Other, lower resolutions are available
but 1080 is the one to go for. Containers are AVCHD (stored within
the Private folder on the SD card, it’s the MTS standard), MP4 and
MOV. The supplied SD card will support the lower bitrate videos but
will struggle with the MOV at 72MB/s. I use 24fps AVCHD 1080 which is
24MB/s with this card allowing the full 29minutes and 59seconds video
limit of the GH3. Other creative options such as time lapse, multiple
exposure and full manual control are available within the GH3s menu.
Photography is also well catered for, shooting RAW, JPG or both at
16M pixels, 4608x3456. But again, these are optioned with smaller
resolutions and other aspect ratios such as 1:1,16:9 etc…
Auto-focus is sharp and snappy and the zoom range from 12mm to 60mm
covers wide to short telephoto, so landscapes, portraits, group
photos, holiday snaps, they’re all covered by this lens and
supported with a pop up built-in flash (pop up button works only when
powered on). The lens also has a UV filter attached, 58mm. The
screen is articulated for various angles and the eye piece is clear
and bright with dioptre adjustment. Two used batteries hold charge
and perform well easily coping with 30 minutes of video. A wired
remote is included, handy but seldom used. Built-in timer with selectable 2 second delay
is my preference for steady shots and time lapse is fully automated.
The video out cable is RCA for monitoring or playback. All this
package in a clean Lowepro 200AW with plenty of space for added
accessories and a built-in rain cover.
There
are two manuals available from Panasonic to download. The basic and
an advanced manual. I have included the basic manual in this listing
using eBays option Safety and accessibility information below, but both will be included on the SD card also.
