GENUINE 1941 Royal Army Ordnance Corp HM Gunwharf & Coypool Plymouth Ordnance depot Commanding Officer Roll Call Board.
This names every Commanding officer (C/O) from 1888- 1986 of the Ordnance depot in Plymouth, the original was destroyed when HM Gunwharf was bombed in 1941, so this is the 1941 replacement from when they relocated to Coypool Plymouth. It even includes the dates when it was occupied by American forces (1943-45) during WW2 and when it was disbanded in 1986.
It measures 50” x 22” and is made out of one sheet of Mahogany with hand painted sign writing.
Amazing piece of WW2 and military history!
