Condition:
The print itself is clean, bright and free of obvious staining or foxing visible through the glazing, with strong color in the sky and brickwork. The pencil signature, date and edition number are clearly present. The wood frame shows age and handling wear: there is a visible split and chipping of the wood at the top-left corner of the moulding, and light scuffing along the frame edges. The glazing is in place and the back carries a brown paper dust cover with hanging wire fitted. It has not been removed from the frame, so the condition of the extreme sheet edges under the mat has not been inspected. Glazing material (glass versus acrylic) has not been confirmed.
