For auction today is a vintage and very collectible 1970s Beswick "Watch It" Siamese cat & Mouse on a ceramic plinth/base. It is in very nice condition. The figurine consists of a Siamese cat and Mouse, where the cat warns off the mouse hence "Watch It." The figurine measures approx: 11 ins across and 6 ins high. The base is, the base is marked with "Beswick England" and "Beswick Made in England" within a circular black logo.
The figurine is crafted with good detail and captures a moment between a cat and mouse, a lovely design and symbol of the brand's popularity. A very nice piece of Art pottery showcasing the skill of 1970s British pottery, this would be a delightful addition to any collection of this type and would display very well.
