PACT The Vol.2 #2,3 Lot (Image Comics/2005)*Early INVINCIBLE app.!

*(Grade:NEAR MINT)

#2,3

*The Pact is what Teen Titans used to be. They’re not so much a hero team as super-powered teens who hang out together because they understand one another in ways that others can’t. Invincible, Shadowhawk, Firebreather, and Zephyr, unite against the threat of—Duncan’s dad. (He happens to be a dragon.) Four super powered teenagers from dysfunctional families band together to discover the heroes within.

The manner in which they come together is pleasantly reminiscent of The Avengers’ origin. Each issue is by a different creative team, and it’s interesting to see their takes. The third issue, featuring Quantum Girl, is a bit more super-heroic than the first two. Who is Quantum Girl? She’s a forgotten hero, in the same vein as Triumph and Sentry.
