Vintage L.E. Smith Glass Co. clear pressed glass vase in pattern #506, known as Whirling Star or Galaxy. This striking pattern originated as McKee Glass “Wiltec” and was later produced by L.E. Smith using the historic McKee mold.

Features an elaborate whirling pinwheel/star motif surrounded by geometric pressed-glass details, textured panels and a dramatic sawtooth/scalloped rim. The intricate design gives the appearance of cut crystal while being molded pressed glass.

Measures approximately 6.25" tall.

Clear glass catches and reflects light beautifully and displays especially well in a window, curio cabinet or glass collection. A wonderful example of vintage American pressed glass with connections to both L.E. Smith and the earlier McKee Pres-Cut tradition.
