Yamaha SF-700 Mod. P-90 Series Birdseye Pickguard & Rod Cover Made in the 70s

Features

Product Description:

• Brand: Yamaha
• Product Type: Electric Guitar (Body Only)
• Model: SF700 Super Flighter (circa 45 years old)
• This vintage Yamaha SF700 electric guitar body features a unique modification with P-90 style pickups in humbucking size, crafted by an experienced hobbyist with a background in design. The guitar exhibits the characteristic resonance of its alder and maple body, enhanced by decades of natural aging.
• The neck is maple with a rosewood fretboard, offering a comfortable, standard grip typical of Yamaha guitars. The scale length is 628 mm, with a nut width of approximately 43.5 mm, and the guitar weighs about 3.85 kg.
• The sound profile is distinct from typical Les Paul guitars, leaning towards a midrange tone that suits clean or moderately overdriven playing styles.
• The guitar has been carefully cleaned and adjusted, with fret wear consistent with age but no significant fret buzz or neck warping detected. Electronics and tuning machines function properly.
• No case or accessories included.
• Please refer to extensive photos available on Google Drive for detailed condition and visual inspection.
