This is a rare and highly collectible 1984 YAMAHA SFX electric guitar, one of only approximately 180 units produced during the prototype phase in mid-1980s Japan. Unlike later regular models (SFX-I/II/III), this initial limited edition features unique design elements such as a streamlined "sfx" logo, traditional binding head shape, and a non-locking tremolo bridge, making it a luxurious Japan vintage gem. The guitar is finished in black and weighs approximately 3.9 kg. It has been lightly cleaned with a dedicated cleaner and is in good working condition with confirmed sound output. Some scratches and signs of use are present, with notable blemishes shown in the images. The tremolo arm is not original. Please review all photos carefully before purchase.
