Domestic Fujigen G&L S-500 Premium series Rare model out of production

Features

Product Description:

This is the G&L Premium Series S-500 Stratocaster-style electric guitar, a popular model manufactured by the renowned Japanese maker Fujigen, known for producing many Japanese Fender models. Made in Japan, this guitar features G&L's unique MFD (Magnetic Field Design) single-coil pickups, which use strong magnets allowing fewer coil turns for richer high-frequency output. The result is a balanced sound with clarity and body. Unlike traditional Strat tone controls, it includes treble (high-cut) and bass (low-cut) controls for more precise tone shaping. An added toggle switch enables unique pickup combinations, including front + rear and all three single coils together, delivering a powerful sound comparable to humbucker models.

Pickup switch positions:

• Toggle OFF: Neck (front PU), front & center PU, center PU, center & rear PU, rear PU
• Toggle ON: Neck & rear PU, all three PUs, center PU, all three PUs, neck & rear PU

Condition:

• Neck is mostly straight
• Approximately 80% fret life remaining

• Electronics fully functional
• Truss rod status unknown (not adjusted)
• Some minor scratches and metal tarnish from use
