How to measure Up
If your door is 750mm wide, you will need to allow 100mm on each side of the door for the brackets and bar padlock joint. Therefore you would need to order a 950mm door bar set . If you don’t see the specific size you require please contact us via ebay and we will send you a quotation for the size you require.
What’s Included :
• 1x Heavy-Duty Welded Main Security Bar or a bar with a padlock , if you select the padlock optional extra
• 2 x Concealed Mounting Brackets
• 4 x 40mm long fixing screws, fixings for concrete walls can also be supplied on request
FITTING INSTRUCTIONS
Instructions on how to fit this security bar , its pretty simple. In the sales picture you will see the bar padlocked to the padlock bracket. This is the starting point;
1. Attach the padlock bracket with the screws provided to the side of the door that best suits your needs , making sure the position of the padlock bracket allows the bar to slide across the door into the non padlock bracket once its fixed into position.
2. Slowly slide the security bar into the padlock bracket moving it slowly across the door , then slide the bar into the non padlock side bracket , level the bar position off using a spirit level and mark the desired position of the non padlock side bracket , once you have the right position in relation to the edge of the door opening. (Note ; Always make sure the final bracket positions allow the bracket fixing holes to be behind the security bar once it's in position)
3. Remove the bar
4. Attach the non padlock bracket to your maked off position using the screws provided
5. You can now slide bar into position via the padlock side bracket across the door and into the non padlock side bracket , then padlock closed
