Gibson Custom Shop Dealer Select 1959 Les Paul Standard VOS Kentucky Bourbon Fade [961493]

Wefve just received a used 2026 1959 Les Paul Standard?a model originally ordered by a domestic dealer!
This special-edition model features a flame maple top?selected on-site by a Japanese dealer who visited the Nashville factory in October 2025?and is finished in the gKentucky Bourbon Fadeh color, inspired by the Les Paul once owned by Michael Bloomfield.

The body features a two-piece figured maple top selected at the Nashville factory, a one-piece lightweight mahogany back, a solid mahogany neck, and an Indian rosewood fingerboard. Traditional hide glue is used for all joints, resulting in a cohesive, vintage-style body that boasts excellent natural resonance and response.

The neck features an authentic f59 medium C-shape with a comfortable grip thatfs easy to hold, paired with Historic Medium Jumbo frets.

It is equipped with a gCustombucker Alnico 2 Unpottedh pickup. While standard models typically feature an gAlnico 3h Custombucker, this instrument?as a Japan-exclusive order?uses Alnico 2, which has a different magnetic strength. It delivers a juicy, sticky tone with a creamier sound and a full, forward midrange, along with a highly appealing response that faithfully reflects the playerfs dynamics.

There is some rust visible on the pickguard bracket, but since it has a VOS finish, it shouldnft be too noticeable. Additionally, there is a crack in one of the screw holes on the jack plate; however, the guitar shows almost no signs of wear and is in excellent condition.
The neck is in excellent condition, and the frets show almost no wear.

This is a truly magnificent instrument, featuring a stunning combination of beautifully figured maple?selected on-site?and the elegant hues of the Kentucky Bourbon Fade finish! The fingerboard boasts a rich, deep color, giving this instrument an air of luxury!
