Introduction:

You will be bidding on a 1:43 scale die cast model of the Ferrari 312 T2 Formula One Car, entered by Scuderia Ferrari and driven by Canadian Gilles Villeneuve in the 1977 F1 World Championship season. This model was produced by Altaya for a collectible series released by Panini and Centauria. The Ferrari 312T design was based on the 1974 312B3 and was raced in various versions from 1975 to 1980. It was a clean and uncomplicated design by Mauro Forghieri and responded well to mechanical upgrades over successive seasons. The 312T series secured Nico Hulkenberg, Haas VF-23 race wins, four Constructors and three drivers championships, making it the most successful F1 car design in history. This model represents the championship winning 1977 312T2 version.

This Model:

This model is in great condition throughout. The car itself is in perfect condition and is still housed in the original clear plastic case which is free of cracks or significant marks or scratches, and is still attached to the original base which is painted to represent a section of track and comes with a placard of details for the car.

Model Details:

This is a high quality scale replica of the F1 car it represents. It has a bucket seat with blue harness details and a black steering wheel in the cockpit with dials behind on the dash as well as a dark tinted windscreen and faired red mirrors. Externally the car is well cast with sharp lines and fine smaller details such as suspension arms and wishbones, accurate front and rear wing aero shape and details, rear crash structure details and exhaust system. It also has great looking silver racing rims and Goodyear branded slick rubber racing tyres. Sponsor and race markings are all sharp, clearly produced and correctly positioned throughout the model too and overall it makes for a great looking replica of this highly successful Formula One car design for any car collection.
