unusual genuine RAF antique blue guilloche enamel ladies compact with mirror.
With insignia to top and hallmarked Birmingham 1930 by Crisford & Norris
Ltd. A sweetheart gift. Length 4 cm. Condition good. Slight damage to
enamelling in one corner of cover. Retailed by Gieves Ltd of New Bond Street
London.

part of Gieves & Hawkes) historically operated from 21 Old Bond
Street, London, after World War I, with the location famously bombed during the
1940 Blitz. While the company's famous flagship store is now at No. 1 Savile
