CollectA Sarcosuchus

Sarcosuchus was a giant crocodyliform that lived during the Early Cretaceous, with fossils found in Africa and South America. Although often described as a prehistoric crocodile, it was not a member of the modern crocodile group. Its long jaws carried numerous conical teeth, and its body was protected by bony armour embedded in the skin. Sarcosuchus spent much of its life in and around freshwater habitats. CollectA’s figure depicts this formidable semi-aquatic reptile and makes an interesting comparison with models of true dinosaurs from the same broad era.
