Hydrotherosaurus was a long-necked marine reptile from the Late Cretaceous of what is now California. It belonged to the elasmosaurid plesiosaurs, a group characterised by extremely long necks and relatively small heads. Four powerful flippers propelled these animals through the sea. Hydrotherosaurus breathed air and lived entirely in marine environments. The blue CollectA model shows its streamlined body and four flippers.
