Appearance is pretty much what you'd expect from an intermediate/semi-pro level horn that has been played FOR 60 PLUS YEARS & casually handled. Wear is confined mostly to THE minor 'whoops, dropped the horn' ding ON THE LOWER BOW. (LAST PICS). .At worst, there are a few minor dings here and there rather than crushing bends and serious dents. Cosmetic wear is otherwise within limits for the usual instrument contact points. Pads are worn but functional. I play some tenor sax - not really great, mind you - and tested the horn (WITH BORROWED NECK). Got all the notes, top to bottom - LOTS OF PUNCH! If I can, you can! Again - new pads would work miracles here but probably can get a bit more use from these in the meantime. ****I have priced the horn according PLEASE READ FULL DESCRIPTION & review pics. |
