A dark, heavy and fully focused return to form, IV finds Cypress Hill deep in their late‑90s creative stride — blending sinister atmospheres, smoked‑out storytelling and rugged West Coast production. With B‑Real and Sen Dog trading razor‑sharp verses over Muggs’ dense, bass‑driven beats, the album delivers some of the group’s most cult‑favourite tracks, from the eerie Looking Through The Eyes Of A Pig to the classic Dr Greenthumb.
This 2017 European 180‑gram reissue spreads the full album across two LPs, restoring the original Ruffhouse/Columbia presentation with heavyweight fidelity. Featuring contributions from MC Eiht, Barron Ricks, Chace Infinite and the unmistakable live presence of Bobo, this is an essential pickup for Cypress Hill collectors and 90s hip‑hop heads.
