This is a genuine Audi electric coolant shut-off valve (solenoid valve). It is controlled by the engine control unit and opens or closes coolant flow in the cooling circuit.

Function: Electrically controlled coolant shut-off valve.
Installation location: Engine compartment, cooling system.
Type: 12V solenoid valve with 2 hose outlets, 2-pin connector and mounting tabs.
