Original Oil Painting – Argynvostholt, Curse of Strahd

Hi, James here from James' RPG Art animated scenes.

This is an original oil on canvas painting based on my digital Argynvostholt scene, originally created in 2018 for Curse of Strahd. Some of you may even recognize the scene from using the digital version in your own D&D games.

I’ve recently been spending more time learning and practicing traditional oil painting, and decided to revisit some of my older digital scenes in oils. This is a hand-painted reproduction of that original artwork, rather than a print or digitally produced piece.

I’m selling these paintings as I make them, both to give them a home with someone who might have a connection to the original scene and to help fund more canvases, paints, and practice.

Medium: Oil on canvas
Subject: Argynvostholt / Curse of Strahd
Original artwork: Based on my own previously published digital scene
One-of-a-kind, hand-painted original
