The Herm Sprenger Black Stainless Steel Dog collar is one of the most recognizable and popular names in obedience training tools. A safe and effective alternative to choker collars, it puts even pressure around the neck, about every half inch, putting the skin in a band. This collar does not apply direct pressure to the trachea, so you can train your dog with little or no tugging, jerking, or pulling. The addition of a center plate connector allows the middle link to be configured symmetrically, enabling the links to tighten in the same direction. Made of high quality German steel, The size of this collar can be adjusted by adding or removing the links individually.

• Important Size Guide: This Herm Sprenger Black Stainless Steel Dog collar is designed for dogs with the neck size measuring UP TO 16 - 17 inches; This collar can be made smaller by removing links from the collar; Overall collar length is 20 inches; Wire gauge is 3 mm
• Collar Characteristics: Martingale-style Ultra-Plus training prong dog collar features a center plate, assembly chain, ClickLock buckle and a Swivel D-Ring; ClickLock buckle allows placement the collar around the dog’s neck without pulling it over the head; Take the collar off with ease by unlocking the buckle; NOTE: Plastic Black Jacket is designed to SLIDE ON AND OFF the unfastened buckle and does not compromise functionality of the enclosure
• Use and Functionality: Center plate positions middle links to apply even pressure around the neck; Assembly chain loop tightens as the dog is pulling on the leash providing additional help for training and behavior correction; Swivel D-Ring is designed with full 360-degree rotation, allowing for no tangle full mobility of the leash
• Effective Training Tool: Unlike traditional prong collars, this model has shorter than traditional pronged links; Shorter links allow you to more accurately regulate length but retain the strength of a thicker wire; Assembly chain tightens when the dog pulls, aiding in behavior correction; collar should fit snugly under ears and jawline for safe, optimal training results
• Made in Germany: The prong collar is made with precise German engineering, reliability, and quality by Herm Sprenger – the manufacturer of top-quality training collars
