Description:
Atari 520 STFM Home Computer - Boxed with Original Polystyrenes (Tested & Working)
Up for sale is one of my classic vintage Atari 520 STFM home computers. I have tested it with my Marble Madness floppy and it plays the game as expected.
Condition & Testing:
- Console: The computer boots up in the usual 1 minute as is the custom for Atari TOS 1.02. The internal floppy disk drive has been tested and loads games as expected. All keys are present and responsive. The plastic casing shows typical age-related wear and yellowing but is in overall good cosmetic shape.
- Retro Disclaimer: Please keep in mind that this is vintage retro equipment. It is operational and works today as described, but due to its age, no long-term guarantees or warranties can be provided. The floppy drive is noisy but does load games.
- Box & Polys: Includes the original Atari retail box and internal polystyrene inserts (pollys). The box is in 'tatty' condition with noticeable shelf wear, scuffs, and creases from age, but it remains complete. The internal pollys are in fair condition, holding the machine securely.
Important - What is Included / Missing:
- Included: Atari 520 STFM computer console, original retail card bord box, original internal polystyrene packaging, and power cable.
- NOT Included: No mouse, no games, no rgb-scart cable are included in this sale. Please note that you will need an Atari-compatible mouse to navigate the TOS GEM desktop interface. images of games are for proof of life for the floppy drive only.
Shipping & Packaging:
- UK shipping only. Returns not accepted due to the vintage nature of retro electronics. Please see all photos for a clear view of the cosmetic condition. If you have any questions, feel free to ask!
