Original souvenir booklet with local photographs and descriptions from the York Dispatch newspaper, August 24, 1933. This booklet undated, but appears to be a period printing with paid political ads to covers and price of 5 cents on front cover. Coverage of the most powerful storm to ever hit the area at the time. The York flood destroyed over 45 bridges and was the catalyst for depression era improvements to the Codorus Creek and construction of the Indian Rock Dam. The 5” x 7” booklet has 8 pages of text and photos about the flood. The 3 other covers have ads for politicians. Back cover is stained. Some soiling on the front cover. Flood text is good. See scans.
