Superman #26 (DC Comics, December 1988)

“...It’s Just a Shot Away!” Superman and the Metropolis Special Crimes Unit investigate crime lord Baron Sunday, who has been killing his victims through apparently supernatural voodoo. When the Baron knocks Superman out of action, Gangbuster steps in. Meanwhile, Sarge Steel orders Superman to avoid the alien invaders, but when Thanagarians attack Metropolis, Superman defies the government to defend the city. Ties in to the Invasion! crossover.
