Queen II stands as one of the band’s most ambitious early works, a dramatic and theatrical hard‑rock statement that defined their signature sound. Originally released in 1974, the album is famously split into the contrasting Side White and Side Black, showcasing the band’s dynamic range from melodic fantasy‑rock to darker, heavier glam‑rock compositions. This 2026 EMI reissue is pressed on 180‑gram vinyl and housed in a deluxe gatefold sleeve, presenting the album with renewed clarity and depth. Featuring early classics such as Ogre Battle, The March Of The Black Queen and Seven Seas Of Rhye, Queen II remains a cornerstone of the band’s formative era.
