ABOUT THE GAME
Fantasy Zone is a colorful arcade-style shooter originally developed by Sega. Players control Opa-Opa, a small sentient spaceship, as they travel through alien worlds defeating enemies and collecting coins.
Unlike many traditional scrolling shooters, Fantasy Zone incorporates a shop system that allows players to purchase upgraded weapons and engines.
The original packaging advertises eight planets, a variety of alien enemies known as Menons, collectible coins, power-ups, and challenging end-of-level bosses.
COLLECTOR DETAILS
This example includes the original Tengen gold-colored retail box and matching black Tengen cartridge, both featuring the recognizable Fantasy Zone spaceship artwork.
The original illustrated instruction booklet is also included.
The cartridge and manual retain vintage Pooh's Video rental-store identification stickers. These stickers are part of the item's prior rental history and have been left in place.
The included dust sleeve is Nintendo-branded rather than Tengen-branded.
An interesting addition to a retro Nintendo collection, Tengen game collection, Sega arcade game collection, or vintage video game display.
