1800's Dixon & Sons Antique Powder Flask Fluted Draped Motif Copper & Brass
Antique mid-19th-century copper and brass powder flask for muzzle-loading firearms, the flask features a large fluted body with a scalloped draped motif pattern and is fitted with a measuring spout marked PATENT for dispensing powder, it measures approximately 10" in length. We have seen this attributed to Dixon & Sons, but we couldn’t not definitively prove this. The flask shows small dents and dings with overall age and use wear, see photos for details.
