An antique French Catholic devotional medal dated 15 Août 1920 (15 August 1920).

The medal features a decorative frame with a raised chalice and host symbol, representing the Eucharist and Holy Communion. The chalice is a separate applied element secured with two original rivets, a higher-quality construction used on many early 20th-century devotional medals.

The reverse is engraved with a decorative AB monogram and the commemorative date 15 Août 1920, likely marking the recipient's First Communion or a religious celebration held on the Feast of the Assumption.

Stamped with UYENO maker/retailer mark and bearing the French boar's head hallmark, confirming 800 silver standard.

A lovely and authentic piece of early 20th-century French Catholic devotional jewellery.

Condition:
Good antique condition with age-related wear and light surface marks. The gilt chalice decoration remains well defined and securely attached with its original rivets. Natural patina to the silver.

Measurements:
• Length: approx 3.5 cm
• Weight: 8.13 g
