A defining album in The Smiths’ catalogue, Meat Is Murder captures the band at their most politically charged and musically sharp. This 2012 Rhino reissue presents the 1985 classic with remastered audio, preserving the jangling guitars, melancholic lyricism and post‑punk edge that shaped the band’s signature sound. Pressed on high‑quality vinyl and housed in a traditional LP sleeve, this edition offers a faithful reproduction of one of the most influential indie rock albums of the 1980s.
