Introduced at the 1996 Auto Salon after the 270R, the 400R has the racing-derived RB-X GT2 engine producing the 400 PS reflected in its name. At a time when sports cars were restricted by a voluntary 280 PS limit, this works-tuned car's specifications attracted great attention.
