“ASICS SportStyle” and “atmos Indonesia” are launching their first collaborative model, the “GEL-KAYANO 12.1 ‘ARCHIPELAGO’.”

“ARCHIPELAGO” is a nickname inspired by the fact that Indonesia is a nation comprising more than 17,000 islands. Through the various elements that shape Indonesia, we have infused the ‘GEL-KAYANO 12.1’ with the shared sensibility that flows through this archipelago.

As people travel from island to island and town to town across Indonesia, the scenery they see, the scents they smell, and the culinary culture they experience each take on a distinct character.

At the same time, there are memories of “home” that transcend geographical boundaries—colors and landscapes etched in memory from childhood, scents and flavors rooted in the land, and a history passed down through generations.

This collection was born from inspiration drawn from that sense of “home” that breathes within everyday life in Indonesia.

It expresses the concept of an “archipelago”—where different lands are connected as one through their respective histories and cultures—in a single pair of sneakers.

Additionally, the collection features a logo design on the insole unique to this collaboration, as well as a specially designed shoe box.
