Panibois French made “Pani-Pousse” Dough Proving Basket made from thin layers of Poplar wood and lined with heavy French linen.

500g basket with a 20cm diameter, this professional quality baking equipment is perfect for commercial kitchens and home baking.

Use: Dust the basket lining and dough lightly with rice flour to prevent dough sticking to the basket. The fitted linen gives a smoother finish and helps release.

The breathable materials encourage a workable light skin to form on the outside of the dough making it easy to score, and develop a crisp crust on baking.

IMPORTANT! Do not place proving basket in the oven. Tip out to onto a baking tray/tin/peel to bake.

Cleaning and storing: Allow to dry and brush out. The outer collar can be removed to release the linen lining to facilitate airing and thorough cleaning. See photo.

Ideally wrap in paper or muslin and store in a clean dry place.
