Available for purchase is a 1959 Ford Fairlane Sunliner Galaxie 500 with 36,750 miles. Powered by a 292 wideblock V8 all original. The transmission is an Cruise O Matic Automatic. This car wasgarage ket fo my years. Previous owned drained transmission & left sit with no fluid for years so when I purchased the car I had the transmission fully rebuilt including all new bands. I made certain all parts were from USA as this car was originallly built. Not cheap yet I wanted it done like it was made originally. I also purchased all new steel wheels again USA wheels and installed brand new wide white tires. Brakes have all been gone through by a professional garage. Car stops great for a drum brake car. Original interior is all in amazing shape. Carpet should be  replaced as the right door panel could use replacement it dont look terrible yet shows it's age. I found a company who makes beautiful like factory new panels gonna cost, it was like 250 a side not cheap. The 292 runs great... The transmission shifts excellent yet should for what it cost to have done. The transmission has less than 200 miles on it I really never drive car that is why I am letting it go storage has become an issue. I have stainless fender skirts in the trunk. Brand new top is folded up in trunk as well to be installed all the frame work is in excellent shape. Previous owner had top motor rebuilt yet never installed it back in. A very reliable car that could be driven anywhere. Handles great. Head turning thumbs up where ever you go. The plus of this old Ford is that you wont find a more solid ole gal. Frame clean. Amazing shape. Trunk floor is solid, unusual yet all original super solid floor. All floor boards are all factory original and in great shape. SO unusual to find such a solid ole Ford like this. The body is equally amazing. All steel body. This is one amazing solid old car. Normally these fenders whent bad when these cars a few years old. Not this all metal. Paint is faded. I have buffed it a few times and will shine. Not a show car yet very nice. Has knicks & scratches a dent inn drivers quarter panel small but dented as is the trim piece again nothing major but there. The front & rear bumpers to make real nice should be rechromed yet not that bad and take nothing from the originality of the car. Hate to let this one go my dad bought same year convertible brand new in 59 and my parents got married in it. That is why I wanted this car and hate to sell yet storage is a hassle & expensive and my business could ues the funds as well. This is as nice as an original Ford you will find. Of course nicer restored ones exist yet they are restored and this originality gives character. This car is as close to original as you can get I will assume over years yet long ago had some paint work done yet a very good looking original car.
