Key Features
  • Proven STC & IIC improvement: Each clip mechanically decouples drywall from the structural frame, adding up to 20 STC and IIC points to wall and ceiling assemblies. Independent testing shows airborne sound transmission reduced by up to 75% and impact noise by up to 100% when installed per spec.
  • Professional-grade steel and rubber construction: Clips feature a heavy-gauge steel body with a vulcanized rubber isolation pad rated for long-term compression without creep — maintaining decoupling performance for the life of the assembly. No plastic components that degrade or crack.
  • New construction and retrofit compatible: Installs between studs or joists and the finish surface for new builds, or clips directly to existing framing for retrofit projects. One pack of 100 covers approximately 200–400 sq ft depending on assembly type (walls typically 1 clip per 2 sq ft; ceilings 1 per 4 sq ft).
  • Universal frame compatibility: Works with wood stud, cold-formed steel stud, CMU block, and poured concrete substrates. Designed for use with 25-gauge hat channel (furring channel) meeting or exceeding SSMA specifications. Compatible with standard drywall screw patterns.
  • Versatile for any noise-sensitive space: Used by acoustic contractors, recording studio builders, home theater installers, and multifamily developers. Suitable for party walls, floor-ceiling assemblies, mechanical room enclosures, home offices, and apartments or condos requiring STC 50+ assemblies.
