■ ABOUT THE PUSH & PULL DISTORTION
Classic Brown Sound Distortion
When thinking of iconic rock guitar tones, one of the first sounds that comes to mind is the powerful distortion of an overdriven amplifier.
Among these tones, the legendary "Brown Sound" stands out as one of the most recognizable sounds in rock guitar history.
Characterized by the aggressive edge of a heavily driven British-style amplifier, this tone combines rich harmonic content, warmth, and powerful distortion.
The PUSH & PULL DISTORTION is specifically designed to recreate this classic sound.
While the term "Brown Sound" can have different interpretations, this pedal focuses on the thick, rich distortion tones associated with 1980s hard rock.
Powerful, Responsive Rock Tones
Connect the PUSH & PULL DISTORTION to a clean amplifier, and it instantly delivers an unmistakable classic rock distortion tone.
Its sound is characterized by:
Thick, full-bodied distortion
Sharp attack and enhanced tonal definition
Smooth sustain for extended notes
Excellent response to expressive guitar techniques
Clear and lively articulation during fast passages
The pedal works particularly well with legato playing, two-handed tapping, expressive bends, and high-speed alternate picking.
Even during fast and technically demanding performances, the distortion remains lively, dynamic, and articulate.
This combination of power, clarity, and responsiveness is what makes the PUSH & PULL DISTORTION stand out.
■ CONTROLS
LEVEL: Adjusts the overall output volume.
DRIVE: Controls the amount of distortion.
TONE: Adjusts the tonal character, primarily affecting the high frequencies.
■ POWER & BYPASS
The PUSH & PULL DISTORTION features a true bypass footswitch to preserve your original guitar signal when the effect is turned off.
It can be powered by either:
A 9V battery
A standard center-negative DC 9V power adapter
