This model, the Contour Bass '63, faithfully recreates a traditional, classic style. It features a quintessential 1960s-era tonewood combination: an alder body, a maple neck, and a rosewood fretboard. It is built with a 38mm nut width and a 34-inch scale length.

While it boasts a distinct vintage aesthetic, it also incorporates modern, player-friendly features—such as lightweight Hipshot tuners and a relatively smooth 254mm (10-inch) fretboard radius—ensuring excellent playability.

The truss rod has remaining adjustment range, the frets show no significant wear, and the electronics are free of any problematic crackle or noise.
