Vintage 1979 Matchbox / AMT 1:43 Peterbilt 359 Truck Model Kit PK-7106 (131 Pieces)

Up for sale is a vintage Matchbox/AMT 1/43 scale Peterbilt 359 truck kit, item number PK-7106. It's an unbuilt kit that I'd describe as new, and it contains 131 pieces according to the box.

This is a lovely bit of 1970s model truck history. Matchbox took over AMT in the late 1970s and kept these Peterbilt kits going, so this is a proper old-school Matchbox/AMT release.

Condition

Kit is unbuilt and the contents look unused
The box has no shrink wrap
The box shows its age, with some marks, browning and wear to the corners (please see photos)
One of the part bags has a small rip in the corner
Everything looks complete from what I can see. I haven't counted every piece, so please go by the photos
The decal sheet is there, but the paper that sits over the transfers is missing

This would suit a collector, a Peterbilt or Matchbox fan, or anyone who fancies building a proper vintage kit. It would also look great added to a shelf of old model trucks.
