A lovely tall vintage copper jug/pitcher with a tapered body, large curved handle and shaped pouring lip. The copper has developed plenty of natural age and character, with darker areas and verdigris around the seams and fittings.

Vintage. Exact age and maker are unknown. The traditional construction, visible seams and riveted/fixed handle give it an attractive older appearance.

📌 Condition

Good vintage condition with wear consistent with age and previous use. There are surface scratches, marks, tarnishing, darkened areas and areas of verdigris/patina, particularly around the seams, handle fittings, rim and base.

The interior and underside also show age-related tarnishing and discolouration. No attempt has been made to remove the patina, as this forms part of the jug’s vintage character.
