Type O Negative’s notorious early release The Origin of the Feces returns in this 2022 Roadrunner Records reissue, presenting the band’s raw, provocative and darkly humorous take on gothic metal and doom‑laden heavy rock. Originally issued in the early 1990s, the album blends crushing riffs, sardonic theatrics and Peter Steele’s unmistakable baritone across a set of reworked tracks and chaotic live‑styled studio performances.
This edition comes new and sealed in a standard jewel case, featuring a multicoloured design and mint condition throughout — a perfect collector’s copy for fans of the band’s early era.
